The LifeStar Mission: To be a safe, truthful presence as individuals make their own journey towards wholeness by providing a nurturing alliance that brings hope, support and healing.

LifeStar Counseling was founded by Christi Lange, MA, LMHC, MHP, for the sole purpose of helping women through lifes difficult challenges. Christi has faced many of these challenges herself giving personal insight into her patients daily struggles.

LifeStar Counseling offers the following services:

Finding your voice.
Overcome social fear, gain strength to speak your beliefs, escape from a controling relationship, embrace your passions and replace self-criticism with healthy positive truths.

Developing healthy boundaries.
Establish healthy relationship perimeters and develope the strength to keep them, control peer pressure, do right when others encourage you to do wrong and learn appropriate absolutes and equip yourself with the tools to follow them.

Overcoming grief and depression.
Gain the strength to cope with loss – of your spouse, child, parent, friend, pet – what ever grieves you. Learn tools to help navigate major life transitions such as job change, relationship breakup and long distance move. Find the light within yourself to brighten the darkness of depression.

Navigating teen years.
Specialized counseling for teen girls and parents of teens including nurturing teen girls to become strong women, helping kids learn to cope with bullying, healing broken communication between parents and teens and helping parents love an unloving teenager.

Learning how to have fruitful communication.
Learn how to listen and understand in a heated conversation and how to have a "good fight" with a loved one.

Understanding abuse and how to recover from it.
Explore the full definitino of abuse so you can identify it and work on a cure. Develope a strategy of safety and wholeness to recover and heal from the deep wounds of abuse.
