About LifeStar Counseling

The LifeStar Mission

To be a safe, truthful presence as individuals make their own journey towards wholeness by providing a nurturing alliance that brings hope, support and healing.

3 generations of women

Our desire is to be a safe, truthful presence as individuals make their own journey towards wholeness. LifeStar Counseling provides a nurturing alliance that brings hope, support, and healing. Christi has faced many of these challenges herself giving her personal insight into her patients daily struggles.

Christi Lange received her Masters in Counseling in August, 2002 and continued her education to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State. Christi has practiced as a mental health counselor in community centers and private practice since 2002.

Christi lost her life-long partner, friend and husband, Dugan, on December 7, 2010. She took a sabbatical for her own personal healing during his illness and after his passing until she opened LifeStar Counseling in January 2013. If you would like to read more about Christi's personal story, please visit Christi's Story.

During Christi's subbatical she maintained her professional license and passion for helping others. LifeStar Counseling is a renewal of her commitment to help others and a reflection of her passion.
